Their bar program is just as strong; they offer refreshing, inventive twists on classic cocktails that truly impress. The undisputed star of the menu is the El Rey Burger: perfectly cooked, incredibly high-quality, and hands-down one of the greatest tasting burgers I've ever had. Five stars, highly recommend! I tried the fish sandwich, and it was perfectly cooked with super fresh toppings and sauces (a horseradish/vodka ketchup and tartar sauce). For dessert, i had the Dubai chocolate strawberries. "Fantastic experience. Chris the server was genuinely friendly and very accommodating. The (free) chips and homemade tomatillo salsa were excellent and a nice touch. Drinks were fairly priced and super tasty. Food was delicious and the owners came to our table afterward to offer us free samples of their amazing brick oven pizza which apparently they serve on weekends. Washrooms were huge and spotless. The place itself is spacious and has a very cool layout, with an honest pool table in back that even has its own signature rack triangle and plenty of decent sticks. Fancy! And kudos to whoever chose the background music...well done! Definitely going back."

"El Rey is truly a gem. Our server Chris was so friendly and considerate and made sure us and our baby were taken care of. The meal started off with warm freshly made handmade chips and a delicious margarita and hibiscus sour. For food we got the burger and the quesabirria. The burger was juicy and perfectly seasoned but the peppers really rounded out the burger to be really unique. The quesabirria was crispy with a really nice consome and sauce. Finally to round out desert the Dubai chocolate strawberries was one of the yummiest desserts I've had. The space is also really nicely decorated and spacious and would be perfect for a private event or party and there's even a pool table in the back! We will definitely be back again."
